Breeding and Application of Two-line Hybrid Rice Combination Guangliangyou 916 with High Yield and Good Quality

Abstract

Abstract: Guangliangyou 916, a new two-line hybrid rice combination, derived from the cross of P(T)GMS line 63-4S and good-quality restore line Xiangfeng 916, was approved by the Crop Variety Appraisal Committee of Henan Province in 2014. It has the characteristics of suitable growth period, strong disease resistance, wide adaptability, stable yield ability, good grain quality, steamed rice smell and good palatability.

摘要： 广两优916是河南省信阳市农业科学院利用水稻两用核不育系广占63-4S为母本，自育两系强恢复系香丰916为父本测交组配育成，具有生育期适宜，抗病力强，适应性广，稳产性好，稻米品质优良，米饭有清香味，适口性好等特点。2014年通过河南省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
